What Is Paint Correction?
Paint correction is a professional machine-polishing process used to improve imperfections within your vehicle’s clear coat. Instead of temporarily concealing defects with waxes, glazes, or fillers, correction carefully refines the surface itself.
Under magnification, swirl marks, scratches, haze, and other imperfections create an uneven surface that prevents light from reflecting cleanly off the paint. Machine polishing removes a microscopic amount of damaged clear coat, leveling these imperfections and creating a smoother surface.
As the surface becomes more even, the paint reflects light more clearly, restoring depth, gloss, clarity, and overall richness to the finish. Depending on the condition of the vehicle, paint correction can make a dramatic difference in how the paint looks under both natural and artificial light.
